I work as an Integrative Counsellor, which simply means I use a mix of therapeutic approaches to shape the sessions around what you need. Because everyone’s needs are unique, I adjust how we work together so it feels right and supportive for you.
I use elements of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Person Centred Therapy and TA (Transactional Analysis). This enables me to tailor your therapy to suit your needs as I blend these in a way that supports you as an individual.
I support adults and young people. This includes teenagers in secondary school and young adults in college and university who are finding life overwhelming, confusing or just a bit too much to manage alone.
Young people often tell me they don’t always have the words for what they’re feeling, so I don’t rely on talking alone. Alongside gentle conversation, I use creative and flexible ways of working such as visual emotion cards, drawing, metaphor, and other expressive methods.

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to offer empathy, acceptance, and genuineness, giving you a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly and explore what’s going on for you at your own pace.
My work is trauma‑informed, which means I pay close attention to safety, choice, and collaboration. The aim is never to re‑live the past, but to understand your story in a way that brings clarity, compassion, and new possibilities.
I am also committed to being neurodiversity‑affirming. I value and respect different ways of thinking, feeling, processing, and communicating, so that you can show up as your true self without pressure to mask or change.
Experience
Alongside my private practice, I’m currently part of a secondary school counselling team, supporting students, staff and parents with a wide range of emotional and wellbeing needs. I also run parent workshops and groups, creating a space for parents to reflect on their own mental health and feel more confident in supporting their children through the ups and downs of school life.

I work as an associate counsellor with PAM Wellness Group, offering short‑term, solution‑focused support to people accessing their workplace Employee Assistance Programme.

I have supported individuals navigating pregnancy‑related challenges, including fertility problems, baby loss and birth trauma, through my work in a specialist charity setting.
